Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Advancing the science of drug formulation, delivery, and dosage design to develop safe, effective, and patient-focused medicines.
About the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Established in 1988, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi, is dedicated to advancing the science of drug discovery, design, analysis, and development. The department brings together pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, analytical sciences, natural products, and computational approaches to explore molecules of therapeutic significance.
With a team of experienced and enthusiastic faculty members, the department provides students with strong theoretical foundations and hands-on laboratory exposure. Students gain practical expertise in modern analytical and synthetic techniques while developing an understanding of the complete drug development process.
The department also promotes continuous learning through workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and expert interactions, enabling students and researchers to stay abreast of emerging technologies and developments in pharmaceutical sciences.
