Dr. M. B. Patil is the Vice-Principal and Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry at KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy.

With 30 years of teaching experience and 25 years of research experience, Dr. Patil brings extensive academic expertise to pharmacy education and research. His specialization in Pharmacognosy supports teaching and scholarly activities related to natural products, medicinal plants and pharmaceutical sciences.

Dr. Patil has made substantial contributions to postgraduate and doctoral research. His professional profile records 20 M.Pharm projects and 12 Ph.D. projects, demonstrating his involvement in guiding students and researchers in advanced pharmaceutical studies.
